What it does

  • Toggles how MacOS function keys behave
  • Click the menu bar icon OR
  • Use the hotkey shortcut ⌘⌥F (Command, Option, F)

How to use it

  1. Launch FnFlip, the icon appears in the menu bar.
  2. Click the icon to switch modes, or press ⌘⌥F.
  3. Right-click the icon for the menu and the About panel.

Launch at login (optional)

System Settings, General, Login Items, enable FnFlip.

  • macOS 12 Monterey or later (recommended), Apple Silicon or Intel

Privacy

FnFlip does not collect data, it only toggles the system preference for function keys locally.
